With the loss of so much farmland each day, it’s an imperative to keep a sizable portion of this property in agricultural production. We are keeping this “Forever Farmland” with tools such as agricultural and conservation easements and land trusts.

Great things result from great processes. We think a great way to plan a community is to start by engaging all stakeholders. We define a stakeholder as anyone who will be positively or negatively impacted or anyone who can positively or negatively impact this project. This is why we are hosting a series of design events to crowdsource ideas!

The output of the participatory design series will be a master plan with detailed plans for the agrihood. These plans will be packaged into a document known as the development agreement. This deal will then be shopped around to developers who will then build to spec.
